Review on QNAP TS 230 Cortex A53 Quad Core Processor by Thomas Henry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good inexpensive NAS for those who are computer savvy

I'm pretty computer savvy (I've changed hard drives, installed PCI cards, messed around with Windows settings, etc. Works on my home network in less than 1 hour operating software The software for the NAS (available via a web browser) is well designed but may require further guidance for those who are not experts in networking or "storage pool" setups etc. I wouldn't rate this for the average recommend computer user who doesn't know the difference between SATA and SSD I would give it 5 stars, except I found that they force you to buy a license so you can connect an exFAT formatted external drive to read content directly into charged $4 to download the US, but still didn't want to go through the license activation process anymore ess just to copy files from an external drive.)
