Review on Didog Soft Flannel Padded Dog Vest Harness, Escape Proof Quick Fit Reflective Training Walking Harness XS Chest 15-18 Purple by Rocco Guale

My dog dog (a pit bull / chihuahua mix with very short hair) must have pretty sensitive skin. His old harnesses seemed to cause hair loss between his shoulder blades, on his chest, and behind his arms. Basically everywhere they touched. I tried every harness type, made sure they were all adjusted to fit exactly right, even limited harness wearing to just 30-40 minutes a day, and still his little thinning / pinkish patches persisted. I looked up some blogs written by whippet owners (who have similar hair and often sensitive skin along with it) and several were recommending this type of harness. Sure enough, a couple weeks of using this harness instead, and his hair and skin is all back to normal. As a bonus, it's really easy to get on and off. I took one star off only because it's not as adjustable as I'd like. The strap that goes in front of his body is a little on the long side for his shape, and it causes the harness to fold a little when he's wearing it. Doesn't change functionality at all, but it appears ill fitting. If I could adjust that part for his body specifically, this thing would be a slam dunk. Even as it is, I'll happily make this the forever harness. Nice to be enjoying our walks again without feeling sad about the impact to his skin and hair.
