A Lower AYL Disappointingly Falling Short

Being an avid camper and outdoor enthusiast, I knew AYL would have all I needed for my forthcoming trip. Unfortunately, I was let down by my shopping experience. To begin with, the personnel was unfriendly and made me feel like a bother. They lacked product expertise, thus I wasted a lot of time looking for what I wanted. Although AYL claims to have a wide variety of high-quality equipment and supplies, I was disappointed to discover that the range was narrower than I had anticipated. Some of the things I wanted were nowhere to be found, and there wasn't a wide selection of brands to choose from. Unfortunately, AYL's costs were significantly greater than I had anticipated. I know that you get what you pay for, but I thought the pricing were excessive given the small choices and unsatisfactory service. In sum, I was underwhelmed by my time at AYL. It's hard to suggest AYL to fellow outdoor enthusiasts due to the lack of experienced staff, limited selection, and exorbitant costs, even though they may have some nice things.

Pros
  • Easily navigable website with thorough product details
Cons
  • It's possible that the in-store customer service is insufficient.
