The item arrived in a small box with a relatively strong odor. But after a few hours of airing it smelled nice. We filled it with water (no leaks) and played for almost an hour. I love that you can drain the water and put the product away without taking up valuable storage space. When folded, it is so small that you can take it with you when you travel!
