These are little hunks of thirsty wood. Rattan? They are light and small. The photograph shows a regular bottle of essential oil and a tube of chapstick for size comparison.These do not come with anything except one small drawstring bag that both wood diffusers fit in.There are no instructions on the package. So I looked on this description page and it said to add three drops and let the oil soak in. I did that on one. The other, I filled with three eye droppers full of oil.The three drops, I really only smelled if I held it to my nose. The droppers full one smelled awesome. And the bottom of the wood did not fill up with oil, as I feared it might.If I left these in warm locations, like near our electric fireplace or in my car with the sun beating down on it, the scent really permeated.It would not be difficult to put a little eye hook in this and hang it somewhere.I knew what I was getting. So I was not surprised with what showed up.
