After a couple of weeks, seems to be running well. The mechanisms in current battery powered wall clocks are all pretty much the same, the major issue is usually how heavy are the hands and whether or not they are counter balanced, and of course the design: can you easily read the time? I can't see any issues with this clock. (I take issue with no number, Roman numeral, and poorly designed analog clock faces and hands. The face and hands on this are very well designed. The sweep second hand pointer is close enough to the tick marks to be readable.I like the thermometer, the hydrometer is good to have as well. If I had a beef about the thermometer it's that the numbers are tiny and there's an emphasis on the extreme cold end of the scale. It's not an outdoor clock, so what's the point of shrinking the scale down? I can't read the temperature from across the room, but I can tell roughly. The midpoint is 50°f (10 C), is anyone using this clock where this is the midpoint temp?A bonus. I've got a couple of small digital thermometer/hydrometer/ 24 high/low temp clocks. It's almost impossible to read the display. One is supposed to be back lit by ambient lighting, the other is more conventional. Both are difficult to read. This clock is much more useful because even with the small temp numbers it's easier to read.
