Excellent CDs with low defects and durability

For masters, references or other important audio work this is a great choice. In this case, the old adage "you get what you pay for” applies. I've bought many types of CDRs, often from Office Depot or elsewhere; sometimes they were fine; in other cases one in three would be a booth. As a mixing and mastering engineer I can't afford to hand out unplayable CDs to clients so I turn to them on important matters. Having burned hundreds of them and tested them with Plextor's error checking software, I've never had one with more errors than the most conservative duplication (replication) companies would find acceptable. You could also make great data CDs. those with a white ceramic laminate upper tend to have more flaws despite being more expensive. These CDRs might seem a bit odd - glossy and a bit thinner than traditional brands - but they have a great protective coating and strict manufacturing standards that haven't been abandoned after being distributed by JVC.
