Review on Child Proof Light Switch Guard: A Secure Solution for Standard Toggle Style Switches by Alex Barr

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good results for little time and money

This worked great for 3-4 nights with our 2 and 3 year olds who have just started room sharing. They haven't even remotely tried to mess with it. A three-year-old will definitely try at some point and eventually succeed (I guess either shake the case enough to get it out or stick some kind of pencil in it to make the switch click), but I hope it takes a long time. Exit! It's actually a pretty good idea and worth trying (even 3 nights was worth the small investment and quick installation for me!). The reason I say it works "less" now is only because the kids figured out how to prop the open curtains that let in the light from the nearest parking lot to let in more goofy stuff before bed, but that's not the product's fault. itself and the relative obscurity it still generates tempered the previous escapades a bit. :) Go ahead and buy it - it's definitely worth trying! But also portable if you need to take it with you when you travel. Just take a screwdriver. :) I'm so glad this product even exists! I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 just because I think the retractable front end design could be a bit safer/less wavy.
