Not an ordinary homeowner installed

The box has been torn apart by the UPS, but there is no internal damage. Minimum packaging from MFR. There is no protective film on stainless steel, so I had to wear surgical gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints on it. The pre-installed power cord was a handy option until I noticed that the cord comes from the back rather than the top of the unit. It has a knockout hole to move the power cord around if needed, but it's a lot of work. The rear access AC cable hole is larger than the rear so the grommet didn't fit and I had to add my own. The power cord was permanently installed with crimp connectors, so I had to cut them, strip the wires, and add wire nuts. Luckily I have all the tools and materials to do this, others may not need to hire an installer. Cabinet. The previous fan had side flanges to allow the fan to be bolted to the floor of the cab eliminating the need for wood. The included damper is weak and I chose not to use it as my previous fan didn't have one. one. The notch on the back for the exhaust pipe is very difficult to remove and can easily bend the body if care is not taken. The lamp only has 1 brightness level, so it cannot be used as a night light. Although there is a decent amount of light for cooking. The lamps are an odd type that I've never seen before, so they can be difficult to replace. The stainless steel finish isn't bad, but it's not the best. I see small imperfections and a stain on the front panel that doesn't rub off. In my opinion, this is just a small step up from the builder level fan.
