Warning: Don't Make the Same Mistake I Did with Vincidern

Vincidern is an online retailer that specializes in candles, candle holders, home decor, and kitchenware. I was encouraged to make my first purchase from them because of their low prices and extensive inventory. But what happened next was terrible, and it left me feeling discouraged and angry. The Vincidern website was my initial point of contact with the company. It was sluggish, cumbersome, and frustrating to use. It was difficult to locate the items I sought, and the checkout process was quite frustrating. The website was crashing, so I had to reenter my information many times. When my shipment eventually arrived, I was dissatisfied to see that not everything was as promised. Both items were badly built and broke after one use, and one had missing parts. I called their customer service department hoping they could help me, but all I got was unhelpful answers and excessive wait periods. To make matters worse, I discovered that Vincidern had a very stringent return policy that made it difficult for me to receive a refund when I tried to return the defective products. There were a lot of hoops to jump through and emails to write before I finally got my refund. In sum, my time spent on Vincidern was a miserable waste of time. Their website was difficult to navigate, their goods were subpar, and their support staff was useless. No one should put themselves through the hassle of dealing with this online retailer.

Pros
  • Year-long trial period
Cons
  • The website may be sluggish at times and challenging to browse.
