Review on PARAMED Aneroid Sphygmomanometer – Manual Blood Pressure Cuff With Universal Cuff 8.7 - 16.5" And D-Ring – Carrying Case In The Kit – Pink – Stethoscope Not Included by Sean Spence

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sphygnomanometer (Blood Pressure Cuff)

As far as the product's quality, it seems to be first-rate from the meter to the bulb, including the cuff, hoses, carrying case, and instructions (the screwdriver and calibration control are especially great to have). That being said, I assumed this product came with a stethoscope. You CANNOT use a manual blood pressure cuff without a stethoscope! This is like buying a brand new Camaro with no wheels. I contacted the company (Paramed) and they quickly emailed me and were very kind. As I told them, when I receive the stethoscope, I will give this product a 5 star rating without regret. I would buy this product again keeping in mind I would have to purchase a cheap stethoscope to complete the product.Update: Paramed sent me a new stethoscope (as they promised on the card that came with the meter, but like others have mentioned you have to give them a review on Revain before they will send the stethoscope and you can't give a review of the product without a stethoscope. A regular "Catch 22"). I am giving them 5 stars instead of 1 now because I gave them my word I would do so when the stethoscope arrived. Truthfully though, this product is not worth more than 2 stars, now that I am using it. And no, I wouldn't buy it again

Pros
  • Easy to use, great for everyday bp monitoring
Cons
  • The screen on the and bulb is to big and does not allow for the cuff to inflate.
