--UPDATE--After I posted this review the seller contacted me and demonstrated top notch customer service, refunded my purchase and also sent me a slightly different replacement top bracket that changed feels a little stronger. I'll update and revisit this review once the rain stops here on the East Coast and I'll give the replacement a thorough test. -- 2ND REVIEW -- After testing the bearing mount, I received the above stellar intervention from customer service. Rep, I've upgraded my rating from 2 to 4 stars. The problematic plastic part on the replacement appears to be from a different manufacturer than the one I received (IPOW in actual product photo) and is generally thicker with thicker threads on the bolt and so far has held up better than previous light trail riding. It still tilts a bit, but I don't know of any bike mount that doesn't. I even noticed another rider who had one of the stem based bindings (iOttie) and had a similar problem with it moving so much that he overtightened it to the point where it broke. It's not perfect but I don't see it and at this price point it's hard to go wrong, especially when the seller continues to uphold their high standards of customer service. INSTALLATION: The mounting bracket has a wide footprint and narrow diameter. I had to remove one of the pieces of rubber to fit around my handlebars and ended up taking my bike to the shop so they could cut the handbrake guard to free 1/4 inch to mount it next to it. my light, bell and blinker. DURABILITY: I paid a little more for the metal post version, but that post is not the problem. As other reviewers have said, it's a ball head design. No matter how tight I tightened the collar (if anyone can tell me the actual name of this part so I can find a cheap replacement I would be very grateful), my phone was still moving. I ended up using tongue pliers to tighten it and the ring. Now I have to take the ring out of my phone mount in my car every time I need to use it. the front speaker is loose, a car mount just doesn't fit the bike. The ideal mount would be a slightly angled mount that is firmly attached where the handlebars meet the stem. I haven't seen anything like what I'm thinking of and may be trying to come up with a solution of my own, but I've seen better solutions for less money here.
