Review on 🎧 Bowers & Wilkins PX7 Carbon Edition Over Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphone: Adaptive Noise Cancelling by Stanislaw Koluch ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not particularly happy with it, but it's mostly okay.

The sound quality is noticeably superior to that of the other products on the market. I was under the impression that all wifi products available at this price point had the same sound quality, but that's not the case. The Sony WH-1000X is an obvious outlier, but every merchant is aggressively pushing them on customers. Only the rather obscure IO-6 ears made by DALI turned out to have a sound that was comparable to that of the PX7. Design that works well (the IO-6 from DALI just did not take because it was designed in a very specific way). Although the buttons for the mechanical controls appear to have good ergonomics, you won't have much time to read the instructions. The ability to pause the music simply by lifting the earpiece was a feature that I really loved. So far, it has been successful in ten out of ten instances (there have been reviews on this page regarding something that is not always successful). Some cons: After wearing it for an hour, there is already a discernible pressure on the head and/or on the cheekbones, but the discomfort is manageable. I don't entirely get noise cancelling. The older models of my B&O H5 headphones did not have active noise cancellation, yet they "crushed" extraneous sound just as well as their newer B&W counterparts. There are a lot of reviews available on the internet that discuss the compatibility of this model with marriage. The guarantee is only for one year.
