A Case Study in Expectation Management with Ivinta's Online Shop

I am a life coach, and one of the things I always stress to my students is the importance of realistic expectations. Damages such as scratches, dents, and discoloration were commonplace on the furniture I got. The delivery process was chaotic; the estimated arrival date kept shifting with each new person I spoke to. The goods came late and appeared to have been through a war zone. It was like talking to a brick wall when I tried to contact customer support. No reaction was given to my emails or phone calls, and the one I did receive was about as useful as a dull pencil. What about the procedure for giving something back? I won't even begin to explain why. You know what though? Perhaps I needed to learn the hard way that not everything can be controlled by planning. Scratches, dents, and discolorations are unavoidable. However, how you respond is crucial. Thank you, Ivinta's web shop, for the helpful reminder to keep my cool even when life is a raging inferno.
