Review on Citrus juicer Kitfort KT-1108, black/silver by Felicja Skrobek ᠌

The item was good, I'll recommend it to my friends.

The impression is excellent, it looks cool, stylish. Easy to use. Some buts are described, which for others may not be significant. Model KT-1108 for medium and large citrus, KT-1107 - for small and medium. Before that, there was (and is, only with a glued gear) Supra Jes-1024 (three years ago it cost 250 in points, now this plan is 700) - it served with a bang, 2-3 kg of oranges at a time, compared with it. (I want to try to squeeze a pomegranate, but I'm waiting for the price to drop)))

Pros
  • In principle, in other reviews, all the pluses were painted: price-quality, ease of use, appearance, suction cups, etc. If desired, you can "add" juice by holding the rest of the orange half with your hand, but this is usually not required. And plus - I have long wanted a juicer of this type and with a wide "seat".
Cons
  • 1. When you first unpacked from the package, there was a faint smell of Chinese plastic, weak - sniffed everything: the lower part of the stand, or somewhere in the area - very weak. Maybe a package? 2. Handle - it seemed flimsy: bottom view - it looks like a silumin - I'm afraid to break it, but so far everything is ok. 3. According to the instructions, the removable parts cannot be washed in the dishwasher - it made me sad (I’ll write why later). 4. A half of an orange at the initial stage of "juicing" is scrolled until it is pressed down hard, and until the plastic pins "stick" into the peel. In the meantime, it is scrolling - it is with these pins that the juice of the peel / peel is squeezed out. He, of course, is more useful, but he is bitter. and he's fat, really oily/oily. Therefore, everything must be washed with soap and not in the dishwasher. (When the leftovers were drained, a rather thick layer of this oil was obtained, compared to another juicer. Not a film, but a layer. The pulp also turns out to be bitter. Wash more than simpler models). 5. According to the instructions (then already read) 10 oranges and a pause for 10 minutes. And it turned out that together with the children they squeezed out 10.5 and the juicer turned off. In terms of temperature - I did not notice that it was warming up. Plus: it takes care of itself, minus: it will be small. Three minutes later (not ten) it worked perfectly again. They took oranges: on average, from 3.5-4 pieces, half a liter of juice is obtained. 6. Capacity: 750ml, but upon filling it is 500ml, and already the juice level is too high to press further - the pulp floats. 7. Press the "faucet" - it's simple, but to "turn off" / raise - you must definitely hold the bowl with your second hand, and not the child. After that it may drip.
