I gave them a chance and damn I'm glad I did. Incredible quality and endless fun

Finding toys that will grab and keep your 18 month old's attention can be difficult. My son was about that age last Christmas and the old lady and I were kind of stuck looking for some more presents to stuff under the tree. It's a strange age to buy toys, a transitional period from baby to toddler. He already had a lot of well-known educational toys from well-known companies, and to be honest they were a little ridiculous, cheesy, annoying, repetitive, and just plain unrealistic with all the cartoon faces on singing furniture, gadgets, phones, and laptops. I couldn't stand another scout toy or listen to another depiction of this tiny spider with a funny cartoon voice. I also wanted something that didn't make him feel like he was in class and not playing. He's my first boy after two girls, but I know boys are supposed to sit in trucks and I stumbled across them by accident. I don't know why I liked them so much (probably because they look really bad @ss) or why I thought he would like them so much but I took a chance and ordered them and WOW! He fell in love with her immediately. I never thought how much he would love those trucks. He played with them all day long from waking up to falling asleep. It's like he never let her down. I always had at least one on hand. In a high chair. In the wheelchair. diaper change. bath time. Inside. Outside. sleep with them Rolling them back and forth, over and over again, I'm sure it annoys the neighbors. It took him a while to figure out how to play each of them "right". It's cool that all 3 are different. But he came up with a pullback race car, then tried to do the same thing with a friction car, and so on. Now he's older and has mastered it with no problems, but these cars have stood the test of time and his (and his father's) rough play, opening up an obsession with cars and trucks too - rollback, friction drive and freewheel, whatever - for him. We have so many similar sets it's crazy but they are by far the best out there. DON'T MISS THIS. Worth every penny. Thank you for making my son so happy.
