Review on 🧡 Effortless Stitching with the Janome CoverPro 900CPX Coverstitch Machine by Angela Rodriguez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice Duo Tasker

It would be better to get this machine in the 3 needle version at this price and I can't understand why this 2 needle machine is so expensive even here. Nearby retailers are selling Janome's Elna in this two-stitch version for about double the price, which is even more outrageous. However, this is required to attach elastic cuffs to the top of swimwear and sportswear. I haven't tried chainstitch yet and hope to use it for decorative purposes one day. So far it works great. My only complaint is the loose sleeve, which is basically useless because it's not deep enough for clothing to reach the pins effectively. I discovered, that I still had to turn the garment inside out and sew on the inside to hem the hem or attach the elastic. This machine offers a 5mm stitch width, but when you go back over the piece on the second row of stitches you can either overlap or merge the previous row of stitches to get a wider stitch width of 7 or 10mm for more stability at the elastic waistband . Groups. It's a bit of a hassle to remove the work because you have to pull the loose threads over the needles and gently turn the wheel to loosen the work if it doesn't prick the fabric. Patience is a virtue. It runs smoothly and has a nice, fairly quiet feel and sound. It's easy to cut the thread with a very simple guide. It's really better than regular sewing machine like serger for stretch and interlock knits. There is no substitute for this fine double stapler. Three needles would be better
