Review on 📻 Highly Versatile Motorola Talkabout T82 Radio Set in Stylish Black/Orange Finish by Ba Li ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not exactly the product that I wanted, the price and quality do not match.

For me personally, very loud. I didn’t like how the voice was reproduced, if the subscriber speaks very close and loudly, then on the receiving radio the voice is even distorted. If the subscriber literally moves the transmitting radio away from him by 10 cm, then the second one for some reason quietly reproduces his voice, and sometimes it’s not audible at all, you have to turn up the volume, and if he says loudly then turn it down. Those. walkie-talkies have a problem in reproducing the received signal ! At first I thought that I had such a defective copy, but no, on another set of another batch, the same problem. Moreover, if you transmit from T82, and receive, for example, on Baofeng, then there are no problems with voice on Bao, i. E. The T82 microphone normally receives a signal and transmits at least 2 cm, at least 15 cm, to speak into the walkie-talkie. There is obviously some kind of defect in the receiving part. For comparison, I have T62 walkie-talkies, so they have no problems with voice reproduction. This is not to say that you cannot use them, but you will have to adapt at what distance and how loudly to speak into the radio. Personally, I would not take these walkie-talkies for myself anymore.

Pros
  • Build quality, charging from micro USB, you can buy powerful batteries instead of batteries and use them, and use a hotel charger to charge them. Scanning mode with the definition of the security code, sometimes useful if you want to talk to the guards or builders))). 16 PMR channels (after expansion). How to open it is written in the instructions in its English part. In 2022, only 8 are allowed so far, and in Europe you can use 16 channels.
Cons
  • A flaw in the voice reproduction path. Charging with a small current. Batteries are charged with a current of 130-150 mA, if the indicator shows that the charge is over, in fact, the charge continues for about an hour if not more. There is no adjustment of the sensitivity of the walkie-talkie; when sanitizing, it catches even very weak, sometimes in interference, signals from other walkie-talkies.
