Review on Intex instantaneous pool water heater Heater 28684 by Adam Wojtczuk ᠌

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

I have been using this heater for about 7 years, during which time it has survived 3 pools, from inflatable to skeleton. Be prepared for the fact that it should work almost around the clock, I turn it off only while swimming. A small pool of about 10 cubic meters at a night temperature of 15-20 degrees, from a water temperature of 15 degrees, it will warm up by 4 degrees overnight, after 2-3 days at a daytime temperature of 25 degrees, there will be about 30 degrees in the pool. The pool is on the ground. It barely warmed up the round frame 549 * 122, the pool on the ground, a maximum of 25-27, at ~ 25 degrees during the day, after 2-3 days of connection, the volume is ~ 24 cubic meters. This summer I bought a rectangular pool of 17 cubes, put it on 5mm polystyrene foam, on the ground, temporarily, in the future a wooden floor. I connected a heater through fittings 38-32, from 15 degrees until the morning it warmed up to 18-19. Now stable 30, over 32 it turns itself off. I always cover with a heating (bubble blanket), unlike a pull-on blanket, a bubble blanket can be removed / thrown on alone. During the day, the sun warms it, at night it does not allow steam to come out. Expanded polystyrene does not allow the pool to cool from the ground. Good luck to all and have a great swimming season!

Pros
  • Durable. There is flow protection. Safe.
Cons
  • Input output under 32. Adapters are needed at 38, there is a narrowing, the flow weakens a little.
