Very useful as a block set for routers and table saws. latitude accuracy. I measured each disc with a micrometer and addition increments and they were accurate and this is with a micrometer that automatically measures to 128 inches - each was accurate to 1/8th. Two 1/16 metal washers (layers) are very useful. I also use them as spacers for door gaps and drawer faces. Works great as a depth gauge on my router table - can raise the bit 1/8" at a time for clean cuts. I'm an intermediate level woodworker starting out as a beginner and this has been a useful tool to 'improve my game'. I plan to buy another one in case I need more miracle pads. First off, the magnets are pretty damn strong and will snap into place when two faces get close - it hurts like hell. You have to take them apart and put them back together. buy one and you will see what i mean.
