Fantastic headset for the money

First day with Microsoft Lifechat XL-3000 USB Headset. I have read many reviews about this product. Before I bought it. I was impressed because I was looking for a replacement for my headset that came with Dragon NaturallySpeaking speech recognition software, which was more durable and reliable. I found that pairing a microphone with a USB headset is much more accurate. When using speech recognition like Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11.5. I like the comfort and feel of the headset on my head. The boom mic is excellent and plays music well enough for the price. I had a little problem when I first installed a USB headset on my laptop. I have to call Microsoft Technical Support to find out why I can't hear any sound through my headphones. Turns out I had to go into the control panel and make the USB headset a part of the system by default in order to listen to music and establish communication. After going through this process. I had no problems at all. There's one small issue that's really just a minor annoyance. When I'm using Dragon NaturallySpeaking, your phones block out outside noise so much that it seems like I'm covering my ears with a pillow when I speak. But I think I can get used to it. It's a great compromise for music quality, voice recognition accuracy, and most importantly, price. So if you are looking for a good headset with microphone for gaming or voice recognition. For example, use it with Dragon NaturallySpeaking or online communication such as Skype or Windows Chat. This is a great option.
