Review on Smart speaker Google Nest Mini (2nd gen) by Agata Uchman ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The item is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

I'm playing around, mastering the voice control of a "smart" home. Apparently there is no getting away from this in the near future. But if you also want to listen to music often, look for another device with Google Assistant, because. this speaker sounds very mediocre. Has pros: Design, good microphone sensitivity, easy setup, Google Assistant compatibility with a large number of "smart" things from different manufacturers. Its cons: Sound. I really don't understand why there are so many rave reviews. The speaker sounds a little better than a smartphone speaker. At high levels, strong distortions cut the ear with a "click", I even had to turn them down with an equalizer. There are no basses that are written about in all reviews - there are mids that can be added with the equalizer slider responsible for low frequencies. It is clear that it is strange to expect miracles from a 4 cm speaker, but it would be better if they made the frequency range narrower, but cleaner and smoother, so as not to torment the ears. You have to listen at a low volume so that the sound does not cause discomfort. The voice sounds normal, but there is no pleasure from the music. Google has a lot to work on in the 3rd generation.
