Review on πŸ”¦ Gentex GENK20A Auto Dimming Mirror with Compass Temperature: Enhanced Visibility and Navigation Aid by Issac Smart

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Standard look, quality mirrors, a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Looks almost like a normal mirror of our Suburban. There is a model with a compass and thermometer, as well as with automatic dimming. Giving 5 stars is a bit too expensive for me, but it's worth it in the long run. Looks OEM, feels OEM. Auto Dimming: Has been tested and works very well but not really needed in our converted van with black rear windows. Compass: I was surprised how easy it is to install the compass. The mirror of our suburb asks us to indicate in which zone we are and in which not. It said CALC until we rode it. I immediately walked down the street to a dead end so we could walk in circles until it was calibrated. Didn't even make a full circle. Thermometer: I did not read the instructions and initially placed the device in the engine compartment under the hood. It was 10-13 degrees hotter than in our suburb 3 meters away. After reading the instructions I placed it on the bottom edge of the front bumper and it helped a degree or two. I then placed it in the grille in front of the radiator where the fan sucks in fresh air. Suddenly the temperature dropped and matched our other car exactly.
