Review on 🏒 GAMDIAS Talos E1 Computer Case: Durability, Versatility, and Style Combined by Agung Baraya ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm completely satisfied with the product, it works.

In general, for this price, a case with two tempered glasses and two complete fans is another thing to look for. It is possible to change the complete 120 mm fans to 140 mm. You can additionally install a 120 mm fan at the back and a pair of 120-140 mm fans at the top. There is not much space for cable management, but it is there. In addition, it should be borne in mind that there is no separate compartment for the power supply - it will be in the common area (and the cables sticking out of it also have nowhere to hide). Now to the cons. The most important thing for me is the lack of dust filters. There is a kind of grid on top, as well as on the bottom, where the air intake of the power supply. But their dust-proof properties cause me personally great doubts. The front wall, where the complete fans are installed, is not protected from dust at all. So there is either something ing, or cleaning every couple of months. Also, the side glass does not fit tightly to the body, leaving gaps of a couple of millimeters. If your motherboard does not have connectors for a 3-pin 5v RGB backlight power supply, you can only control this backlight using the button on the case. There are several backlight modes, including static uniform colors. Separate "off" button no - to turn off the backlight, you will have to click through all the modes in sequence. There is no fan speed control. Perhaps if you connect them to the motherboard, then such an opportunity will appear, but I'm not sure about this. The fans themselves are quite noisy (especially considering that such cases are taken to put them on the table). The fans are connected to the controller using a rather peculiar 4-pin circuit, so it is not possible to purchase some kind of replacement for it with more features on alik or anywhere else. The only way out is to buy a new set of fans + controller.

Pros
  • 1) Value for money. 2) Two fans included. 3) Two tempered glass. 4) Pretty thick metal. 5) Compactness.
Cons
  • 1) Lack of dust filters. 2) Lack of fan speed control. 3) The fans are quite noisy. 4) Plugs for a video card, etc. on the back wall - only one is bolted, the rest break off.
