Shopping at Megulla: A Tragic Tale

At one time, I was under the impression that Megulla was the one-stop-shop internet retailer for all my home-improvement requirements. But when I ran into difficulty after difficulty, my enthusiasm gradually waned. The lengthy transit time came first. I waited weeks for my order to arrive, just to find that the merchandise was broken. I called customer support, but they put me on hold for a lengthy period and were generally unhelpful, offering excuses rather than solutions. The faulty merchandise I received as a replacement was the last straw. Instead of trying again at Megulla, I opted to look elsewhere. To make matters worse, when I attempted a return, I was informed that the procedure would take weeks and that I would be responsible for the cost of returning the device myself. I ended up with a defective item and a bad impression of the company. Unfortunately, my experience with Megulla was not positive enough for me to suggest it to others. They have a fair assortment of goods, but the hassle of dealing with their late shipping and useless customer service makes it not worth it. I highly recommend that you refrain from making any purchases at Megulla. There are many more websites that sell the same things at lower prices and provide quicker shipping. Don't throw away your resources as I did on something that turned out to be a bad decision.

Pros
  • Competitive pricing
Cons
  • There are no traditional shops left.
