Seriously, I don't recommend staring into this light at either intensity for any period of time. Your retinas will sear off and the image will be forever ingrained in your head, and you will have to wait many, many hours for this thing to extinguish itself of its ample 8000mAh battery. The spring in the work light holder is able to provide a confident, snug hold on any hood without issue. Highly recommended if you're working in a remote detachment.
