Keeps door from moving.
We bought this latch to hold our bathroom door open. My husband uses the doorknob for added support and, of course, the door always moves, even with two rubber doorstops.This latch keeps the door in place without any major movement. I found it a bit difficult to mark the holes as I had the latch hooked for placement, but then I couldn’t maneuver my pencil into the hole. The screws were easily stripped by the screw bit. I had to use other screws as I ruined 3 of the screws that came with the latch. Overall I am very happy with the end result.
