Review on 🧘 ZENOVA Foldable Gymnastics Mat - 3'x6'x2''/ 4'x6'x2'' Tumbling Exercise Mat for Home Aerobics, Workout, Fitness, Gym Floor by Jason Wilson

Good, but for one big issue

I bought another ZENOVA mat two years ago, and it’s held up well. No tears, split seams, uneven wearing, or lost firmness, despite daily (moderate) use. I chose this mat because the colors at least matched (yes, same specifications) and the old pattern is apparently no longer produced. When laid out, this mat has large gaps between each segment of the mat. The first two pictures show this; it’s wider than my thumb and my toes easily slip into the gap. I tripped into it a few times on the first day we had it. In comparison, the third picture shows the seam of my other mat…no gap. They do fold/open the same way, so the gaps cannot be explained away due to how it’s folded. This version can pose a danger if used for serious tumbling practice…or even if a foot or hand lands in just the wrong way at the gap.I didn’t return it because the size made it a hassle and the box was discarded almost immediately. Instead, I stuck this mat under my toddler’s play gym, who’s supervised when on it. No stunts, lol, so no injuries so far. It’s good for what I ended up using it as, but not for any real tumbling with those gaps.Hopefully, mine was just a defective mat that slipped through inspection, rather than an example of the product quality in general.
