Review on πŸ”Š Enhanced Immersive Sound: Logitech Z407 Bluetooth Computer Speakers with Subwoofer and Wireless Control, Delivering Premium Audio via Multiple Inputs, USB Speakers by Dimitar Konstantinov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

I purchased it to give to my son for his birthday, but after listening to the first song (Dream Catcher, Live in Hong Kong 2022, LP (Laura Pergolizzi)), I decided to keep it for myself and get a replacement for my son. Because the remote can also be used to operate the player, I connected it via USB to an old Asus EeePC 900 netbook running Windows XP Home SP1 and transformed the system into a stylish music center. Because the netbook is not connected to the network, it appears that the device itself installed the drivers. The entire installation process is indicated by two beeps separated by a short period of time, implying that "a new device has been detected" and "the device is ready to work," after which sound emanates from the columns. On another laptop running Windows 10, the procedure is the same. Perfectly balanced audio with strong, deep bass and crisp mids (there are also highs, but not excessively, and I can't hear them as clearly as I used to). Cheap 2.1 speakers typically amplify the bass and treble, giving off a bad image. In my perspective, comparable sound and capabilities start around $300 for competing speaker systems. Correction: Volume control and player control can only be done from a PC (laptop) when using Windows XP. Everything functions as expected and the music quality is excellent (if not better) when linked via AUX (cable included).
