Review on Huffy Everett Electric Comfort Bike - 7 Speed, Aluminum Frame, Pedal Assist Up To 20 Mph - 27.5” For Adults by Tim Knoepfle

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Huffy should own this ebike price-point

This is an incredibly solid, dependable bike that has an aluminum frame (tested with a magnet) and disk brakes. It does not have a throttle, it is electric assist. It weighs about the same (battery and all) as my steel frame commuter bike, and was built to be an ebike by a bike company that has been in business for over 100 years. You aren't going to get the attention detail or design know-how from some fly-by-night company you've never heard of that has been selling ebikes for 5 minutes. If you run out of battery, you can still pedal this one home. It does take some getting used to, and the brakes seem excessively shrieky (so I will be adjusting and possibly looking into different pads). I couldn't get up large hills in my neighborhood, but I put that down to needing to get used to this zippy little bike rather than any failings on its part.

Pros
  • Cycling
Cons
  • Limited Range: With a maximum range of around 35 miles, the Huffy Everett Electric Comfort Bike may not be the best choice for longer trips or extended journeys
