To my dismay, the zippers were defective on both pairs. Of course I didn't realize it until I had them on. I went off of a lot of the reviews when ordering by sizing up to sizes because they are cotton. They do shrink with the exception of the waist. The waist is nearly as wide as the hips even after washing and drying.

These are not designed to fit a woman’s body. Waist fits loose, and the are cut straight through the hips. So if you size to your hips, they will fit but with a baggy, gaping waist. Flex material and just the right weight, not too heavy or light for camping or cargo. They run small. I'm 5'7 and typically a size 8 or 10. I ordered these in a 12 based on reviews. The thighs are slender for me. If you have athletic legs, these are straight and will be tight on the thigh and glute. The waist fits my 29.5 inch waist and the length is just right at the ankle. They did loosen with the first wear and I will not be putting them in the dryer in fear of shrinkage.

The pants fit a little strange at the waist, it is loose at the back and cuts into my stomach in the front. They are little tight at the top of the thighs too. I guess I could have gone up a size, but I didnt want it to be too loose at the waist. With some wear, the fabric stretches a bit. Not completely dissatisfied but will probably not purchase any more.

Good fit and length. The only problem is the button on the waist is a little bit bigger than the button hole so I had to change it. Quality control wasn’t good so, I had to cut the thread on pocket area.
