I bought a Toshiba Satellite S875D which supports 16GB RAM. Since I use Photoshop a lot, I decided to upgrade the RAM when I bought a new Toshiba at the same time. I installed it before Bootstrap. No problem.

I always use ValuRAM for most computers - but you have to beware of some manufacturers who change the MHz frequency on the slots in order to make them available for purchase to force certain type/brand (ahem, Dell!), and that might suck. But otherwise I've never had a problem with the Kingston ValueRam.

Nothing to say except that it works great on my Toshiba laptop with Windows 8 I've noticed that some programs run faster. I also tend to open a lot of tabs in my browser, now it doesn't slow down my laptop as much.

This works fine on my Dell E6420 laptop although the specs say it needs 8GB maximum. I took a chance after reading what others are saying about their 6420 running with 32GB RAM and I'm glad I did. I'm a software developer and often have dozens of memory-intensive tools open. I'm using Linux Mint 17.2 with Windows 7 in a Virtualbox VM for some Windows related stuff. 8GB wasn't enough. Buy recommendation.
