I had to go through a few other brands to get to this one.

My scenario involves a USB connection 16 feet from my computer to Telescope Pier. From there it's another 9 feet to the cells. Other brands didn't handle traffic from three different cameras, even though only one of them was USB 3.0. Again, this can't handle 3.0 traffic well enough, and you'll have to use a separate line for it as it's very bandwidth-intensive. But at least the other cameras are running at full speed now.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance

Handy for bundling USB connections

I wanted something that would work with all my USB devices. Wanted to clean up desktop connections and have a more centralized connection center. 6 out of 7 ports are full and there were no problems.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Now I know why anchors are included

The product works fine but if you connect more than two wires to it be careful otherwise it will fly all over the place t. not provide. It's very light, so any force the cable has will push it toward itself. I've had it for a few days and it's dropped from my desk into the lower regions of cable knot nightmares and disabled a few things along with it. I just don't have a way to mount it to the wall or my desk (which is made of teak and isn't cheap).

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • I don't remember

Works with most devices...

Rugged construction, good power distribution and compatible with most devices. Hubs can be corrupted or left out, and some devices, especially sync-critical components, can have compatibility issues. Only one thing didn't work for me on this one, others that failed on more expensive hubs worked fine on this one.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • too blunt

Fried. Computers & Accessories

Received and connected Nov 20, 2020 Feb 1, 2021 There was a strong odor of ozone coming from the electronics and the metal case was hot to the touch. Not good. The USB hub has been connected to an APC surge protector to prevent it from over-voltage and shutting down. Everything died by itself.

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Update Availability

Expensive for old USB 3.0 technology

If it were 3.1 Gen 2, also called 3.2. I would keep I was looking for a faster USB version and Revain added this to my search results. I liked the form factor so much that I bought it thinking that 3.1 Gen 2 USB would be as expensive as this device. tricked me Once again, the Revain search engine didn't show what I was looking for and made me click somewhere else. Advantages. I really like the form factor and the bolt on legs which means you can attach it to anything with screws or rivets e.g…

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

But this!: Networking products

After making several bad decisions about other famous brands, I bought this device and I liked it. Small enough to attach to a printer stand out of the way, but handy enough for special supplies. Power to charge and power anything. Planning another one for my other office.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • I'm nervous

Exceeds expectations

I chose this unit over many cheaper models after using my usual rating strategy of looking at the one star reviews to see if the same Problems are mentioned by several dissatisfied customers. In this case, multiple hubs received many of the same angry reviews, and only this one seems to have garnered universal approval from its buyers. on the last installed computer. Worth the extra money I think.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Disappear

Robust and reliable

Heavy metal housing. The mounting hardware is robust and supports multiple mounting configurations. Electronically, it works better with my USB 2 devices than the USB 2 hub it replaced (none of the device timeouts I occasionally saw with my old USB 2 hub). All in all a good package, works as expected or even better.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Some flaws
