great unit best in my review

have many records and cassette tapes to listen to, just a few cd's. thank you for a great stand alone unit without having to bring in all that old equipment, hook it up, and hope it all is working.

Pros
  • CD-R/RW Recording from Phono, Tape, Tuner, AUX
Cons
  • Limited compatibility with high-quality audio files

If you have fairly high standards, not for you.

For some, this product would be okay. I found the speakers to be woefully unsatisfactory compared to my stereo system (which is not type of the line by any means). I have also had humming when using the cassette player. It has been okay for mixing down to disk. Just an okay product but expected better for the price.

Pros
  • Love. Wish it had an auto return but for the cost of this great turntable I can return the arm by hand.
Cons
  • Bulky design takes up a lot of space

Great all-in-one compact unit!

This compact unit has everything I need, especially copying vinyl albums to cd. It is the best reasonably priced all-in-one unit that I have found to date. The speakers are more than acceptable, but I wish the unit produced a little deeper bass sound.

Pros
  • very good
Cons
  • Not portable or easily transportable

TEAC ALL IN ONE IS A BREEZE

I ordered a TEAC all in one cd, cassette, record player, tuner. Very easy to operate. easy to set up. I am using it to convert cassettes to cds. Found out you must use cd-r notdvd-r. The teac machine fwould not accept the wrong cd. It notified me!

Pros
  • Integrate tuner with cassette for capturing to computer, very nice device!
Cons
  • May require additional accessories for optimal performance

Good for home use but not professional grade

So far I have found this to be what I expected. Easy to set up and use. Would be nice if you could hook it up to external speakers

Pros
  • easy to assemble and good sound.
Cons
  • USB functionality may be unreliable or inconsistent

Wish the FM were stronger

For the space I have for this, it is perfect. The FM is very weak. It is good quality construction and easy to read buttons and display. I have a very old TEAC component with my original component sound system and it is still going strong over 30 years later! That's why I chanced it again with another turntable and the TEAC brand.

Pros
  • LOVE THIS ITEM , NICE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT.
Cons
  • Not compatible with all genres of music or sound quality levels

Well built, great features, lousy speakers

Seems well built, it is easy to use and relatively compact. But the built-in speakers are a big disappointment . For the price I expected much better sound quality. My tiny portable bluetooth speaker sounds 10x better. It makes me wonder if I should have bought one of the cheaper models costing hundreds less. After connecting to external speakers it sounds fine.

Pros
  • Turntables & Accessories
Cons
  • Limited product availability and availability of replacement parts

Nice system for my opinion

Sound is great, still trying to figure out the recording part. Hopefully I just need to do a tad bit more reading up on how to do the tracking.

Pros
  • ‎Built-in
Cons
  • Limited playback options beyond CD and USB

Nothing fancy, great to listen to my nostalgic LPs

Dad sent me a bunch of LPs and after a few "cute” all-in-one record players (ugh), I went with this product and haven’t looked back. Perfect for casual listening to my small vinyl collection. Sound is just as I remembered in my childhood.

Pros
  • I`m having problems figuring how to separate the tracks. I know it`s something I`m not getting
Cons
  • Complicated setup process may be overwhelming for some users

Worth the money.: my feedback

Love this machine! I have converted almost 20 cassettes already in the 2 months I've had this machine and had a lot of fun with it!

Pros
  • Easy to set up and use, Tone arm lifting handle could be a little longer for easy lifting.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all turntables and cassette players

Meh sound quality - my new review

This stereo would be much better if it had a tone control button like most stereos have always had. I ended up sending this back

Pros
  • Very nice turntable. First purchase. Easy to setup and looks very nice.
Cons
  • Onboard speakers are not very powerful or high quality

Best all-in-one recorder available.

To be clear, I'm reviewing the LP-R660 turntable/cassette/CD player/recorder. Currently there are reviews for a different turntable (Teac TN-300) listed on this product page for some reason. So I searched forever trying to find a solution for my audio needs, which includes cassettes, CDs and vinyl. Finding a cassette player is not easy these days, because you can either pay hundreds for high-end cassette decks, or go with a cheap Sony boombox. There's very little to choose from on the market. I…

Pros
  • Great product, did not dislike anything about it.
Cons
  • High price point may not be affordable for all consumers

Nice turntable. best in my review

It is a very nice turntable for the money that is decently built. Three things I would change about this unit. I would put an slot for the 45 adapter in the corner on the base, make it have an automatic option and have a little better stylus.

Pros
  • ‎Black
Cons
  • May not support all recording formats or settings

Quality Components and Excellent Packaging

I bought this for my daughter’s Christmas present. I can only comment on the "unboxing.” Teacher double boxed the turntable, so the condition of the actual box is nearly perfect. The turntable and its components were securely packed in formed styrofoam. The instructions were very detailed and clear. She’s taking it back to college. So I’ll have to wait for further reports from her.

Pros
  • It did just what I needed it to.
Cons
  • Quality of audio conversion may be poor

Poor CD tracking good for me

The Auto CD tracking system does not work. It is a hit and miss operation with what ever you are trying to record, at what ever db level you chose. Does not work as advertised.

Pros
  • Best way to convert cassettes or vinyl to cds.
Cons
  • Limited storage capacity for saved files

Excellent sound when it works

Played the first couple albums beautiful, I was extremely happy with the sound quality at first, but after a while it started losing speed randomly and it just kept getting worse over time. Played less than 20 albums on it before it became frustratingly un-listenable, I gave it 2 stars because it did sound great when it worked, and looks great, hope I just got a bad one.

Pros
  • The record and tape player are fantastic. The built-in speakers are just OK.No complaints.
Cons
  • Limited color options (only available in black

Multi-purpose record player/recorder

Wanted a player for my old 45's. Good quality and many options to transfer the vinyl and old cassettes to CD, etc. That's my feedback.

Pros
  • Fit/finish way beyond price. Sounds great!
Cons
  • Controls and settings may be confusing or difficult to navigate

Does the job, could be better but is a good value!

First of all: I'm not a Hi-Fi expert but i appreciate good sound and listen some rock and roll old vinyls. Second: The vinyl quality is about as important as the turntable, the stylus, the connected receiver, pre-amp, cables, ground connection, speakers quality and other stuff that can drive you crazy lol! In my case i build a mid range system, trying to equip it with good components without breaking the bank, and this turntable is perfect for the job. After two years is doing pretty well, the…

Pros
  • Rec Level Control for Analogue Source Recording
Cons
  • May be prone to overheating or other performance issues

Good Unit to record cassettes and vinyl.

Purchased this unit specifically to record cassette tapes and as a backup to my Phillips CD recorder. Have been quite pleased with the results Sound is OK but I did not purchase it for that purpose.

Pros
  • Easy to use. Set up was quick. Has great sound.
Cons
  • Difficult to transport due to its size and weight
