I used this as a toner for bleached hair. The highlights were very yellow (not orange) and the rest of the hair was light brown with dark roots. with a shade of light ash blonde (7A) and 2 parts of an oxidizer (10 volumes). With a level 6 natural base (not dark at the time) I still get a very warm golden copper tone despite the ash tint. The lift is ok which means it gets pretty light, but the toning isn't very good. I think Ultralifting is only suitable for people with very light hair (ages 8+), or if you want yellow/copper results (who needs that?).
