Tried to throw away multiple antennas up to $130 (sent back), these connected with no problems, doubled the quality and signal strength I walk 500 meters plus a house with a brick wall and the front living room connected to a newer Verizon modem router. I give 5 stars! Also use Alfa R36 wifi repeater router with awuso36nh adapter with RP-SMA ready connector

Not only am I good at installing these devices, I'm pretty good at IT too. It didn't improve my external signal in any way. I used the correct mount, followed all directions and nothing but a possible 5dB increase. For 5 dB I would simply move my router closer. what I did. and actually raised 15db. Bad things first: The hardware that comes with it is quite cheap. There were no clamp nuts in my package. The clamp uses M6x1.0 screws and I had to screw in some 1/4-20 screws to make the clamp work. The kit included 5 wing nuts to attach the bracket to the antenna, although there are only 4 bolts. The large screws used to attach the bracket to the wall didn't seem to fit the PH2 or PH3 bits very well so are very easy to assemble even with a 1/8 inch pilot hole unscrew. However, once the…

I connected a Cat5e cable to my router and ran it to an 850ft shack (run in conduit). There I connected the cat5e to the Comfast AC100 Wireless Access Point, simply unscrewing one of the two high gain rubber antennas and screwing this cable in its place. I installed this antenna 8 feet off the ground on a galvanized metal pipe using only the mounting hardware that comes with the REMO antenna.
