Pros
- - Without colorful gaming colors and highlights, even the logo does not glow on the lid, the logo under the screen is not visible at all (glossy plastic on matte) - a normal 17" fullHD screen in conjunction with rtx3070 is still quite enough for itself, including for games. Everywhere the information about the screen frequency is different, but 360Hz appears in my settings. - Adequate price (before known events) - Good cooling system, in idle time the fans do not work at all. - Numeric block (this is important for me) - 12th generation processor (at the time of writing, very few laptops came out with this) - has a headphone jack - the sound is more or less normal - wired network 2.5Gbps - modern (actual) wireless interfaces
Cons
- In fact, there are not so many minuses, I would single out only the lack of thunderbolt, and, perhaps, weak upgrade options, and the rest is more of a nitpick: - lack of thunderbolt and / or usb4 (in the future, do not connect fast peripherals) - only two slots for ssd, one is occupied - only two memory slots, both are occupied, which is sad when upgrading. - Marked case on the outside, prints are visible - Only one USB type c connector. Not enough for a thing that is purchased for several years The charging indicator on the side is quite small, between the usb and the vent, it's not convenient to look at. - Of course, I understand that the charger here is 280 watts, but it was possible to do additional "slow" charging via usb type c. Apparently this is a consequence of the lack of thunderbolt. Charging has a long straight connector, similar to a regular usb, but double-sided (we plug it in the first time), while it is quite long, i. E. it will not be possible to move the laptop right up to the wall on the table. Maybe this is correct, given the rather powerful exhaust of the cooling system. - the equipment is poor: only charging and a laptop (apparently, they really saved a lot) - it seems that Windows 10 was announced, I already had Windows 11 out of the box - no fingerprint sensor - for some it may seem like a minus moving the Fn key to the right side of the spacebar on the keyboard - for someone it may turn out to be a minus the windows key in its "usual" place. Previously, msi left it to the right of the space - the power button of the laptop is located in the square of the key block of the numeric keypad and does not stand out in any way (the button is exactly the same in shape and tactile feedback). You can accidentally click.
