Works once you figure out how to turn the key

It works great and is worth the money. I LOVE the fact that Amazon will warn me if I'm buying something that doesn't fit my make and model. That they recommend parts that are suitable for my car. Note: Once locked, the lid appears to rotate freely, but it does not rotate or open at all. That's when you're ready to go.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Very expensive

This is good. Best in Hats

Im impressed that it really FITS. The last one was a joke. When I buy things through Revain, I usually use "CHECK APPROACH". did and in vain. This one is perfect. While I doubt a gas cap will keep a serious gas thief at bay, it's better than the last one that could be unscrewed by breathing on it. Thanks seller. Honest product, I appreciate it.

Pros
  • Outstanding Overall
Cons
  • Empty

Arrived Broken gas cap

I could not get the key out of the lock after it arrived. He's stuck. I was lucky enough to try this before sticking the cover on my car. Can you imagine running low on gas and not even being able to remove the gas cap? I ended up pulling out the key but then it wouldn't go back. I tried the replacement - same thing. The more I played around with it, the easier it became for me. I took some video footage of where it was easiest to get them out.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some small things

1996 Blazer with factory 1995 gas tank

I wrote a negative review today for the wrong reason, my 1996 Blazer is fully stocked, the gas cap I ordered didn't fit, I went to Autozone to buy one , they showed me one too but it didn't fit either so the employee went out to look at the information on the driver's door and it was built in January 1996 which he thinks might be leftover parts from the factory and so he tried the 1995 Blazer Gas Gap and it worked perfectly, so look at your cap style first.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Unsafe

Stopped working after 3 fills

Worked initially so it's not that I don't know how to use the gas cap. I couldn't close it this morning after buying the gas and luckily I still had the old gas cap in the trunk of my car. I figured that maybe it wasn't working because it was particularly cold this morning, but it still wouldn't lock in the 55 degrees Fahrenheit this afternoon. I guess I have to find a better (e.g. more expensive) mounting cap somewhere. because someone at work is stealing gas from cars in our parking lot.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • weak

Works on 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer EXT LT

Generally satisfied. Put it on top of the fuel and turn right a few clicks. Then, HOLDING THE COVER, insert the key FULLY and turn halfway to the right to lock. Then remove the key. The cap must rotate freely in any direction. (You may have to play with the cap to lock/unlock it. I lubricated the keyhole and key a little, and sparingly applied some silicone grease to the rubber seal. I had no trouble locking or unlocking the cap). Pay attention to the right/left free position and keep the lid…

Pros
  • GOLS Certificate
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Amazing service and quality part

Not only does this lock fit my gas tank, I was pleasantly surprised to see the keys that said 'gas'! During the last recession I had a gas cap but it was difficult to lock by bending the key so I couldn't use any of the keys anymore. The fuel cap I bought from this seller has no locking issues. I didn't know the item was shipped via USPS so I contacted the seller when I didn't see my package at the door. Though I was a little annoyed, he remained cool, calm, and collected. The seller was great…

Pros
  • everything is great!
Cons
