The best lower ball joint!

Moog is the best and I will always and always use their interface products. They are better than the original. You do the job once and it will most likely survive the life of the car. Remember that when it comes to steering parts, safety and quality come first!

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Can't remember

MOOG ball joint fits suspension tools

The name MOOG speaks for itself. I rebuilt the entire Accord 02 front suspension and steering with MOOG parts. They always look stronger and better built than standard components. I appreciate the added bonus that they have lube points so you always have fresh and clean lube.

Pros
  • Ideal for small households
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Those lower ball joints saved me from my mistake.

These lower ball joints saved me from a mistake when I bought a Detroit axle - New 8 piece front suspension kit - (2) front upper control arms and ball joints, (2) front suspension lower ball joints, All (4) front inner and outer tie rod ends, Detroit axle ball joints roasted for 50 miles. First of all it was necessary to choose MOOG!

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • So far so good

Great Aftermarket Ball Joints

These are great aftermarket ball joints. The original ball joint is held in the knuckle by just pressing, but once removed the fit may not be as tight. This ball joint has a locking ring that keeps it in place, which the original doesn't have. You can remove the original ball joint from the forearm with a cucumber fork as this will damage the rubber boot, but you will still be throwing the ball joint away.

Pros
  • Good Value
Cons
  • Poorly Thought Out

Great replacement, requires more skill to fit

The ball joint is not blue like the picture but I don't care. So far I haven't had any problems with this part other than installation. Installation was painful. Make sure you have all the necessary tools too. You can rent a ball joint press from Auto Zone, O'Reilly, or other parts stores. You'll also need extra juicing cones, which you rent separately, at least if you're doing this on a Honda. I ended up ruining another ball joint. Plan enough time for this as well.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Price piggy bank

250,000 miles on my '96 Accord. This is my lower ball joint

**EDIT 6/28/2014** I'm seeing some bad reviews because the part isn't right for your particular application. Revain mostly has a good fit, but it's always a good idea to check the fit yourself on the parts manufacturer's website. For this part I used [.] before ordering to make sure it fits my car and that it is actually the lower ball joint and not the upper one (the upper one for my car is K90458 Moog K90458 ball joint) . I don't know how many of them I've replaced, but I think at least 4…

Pros
  • , practical item
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Not as heavy as OEM but price is right

Important note. Have you ever seen an Accord with a lower ball joint cut off? Usually right after exiting a stop sign or traffic light? This is a known problem on some Hondas, at least the 96-98 models. If this ball joint fits your car, then this problem concerns you. Due to the design of the suspension, the ball joint shaft may flex during movement in the forearm recess through which it is inserted. This will gradually expand the LCA and increase ball joint play. This extra play causes ball…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Minor issues
