FULL DISCOVERY! in vehicles and everyday life

FULL GRAD. This product does not come with SecureMount hardware as stated in the description and shown in the installation video. It comes with screws and only attaches to studs in the wall. If you need to install it on drywall, you will need to purchase the hardware separately for a secure attachment, at DOUBLE the price of the railing.

Pros
  • Serenity: Designed for easy installation
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Very good handrail, but!

The bar itself is fantastic and the lids snap on nicely, but the stainless steel mounting screws are useless unless you're mounting the bar on melted butter or something. I installed two bars, one on a wooden door frame and the other on a 2 x 4 stud in the bathroom wall, and each of the stainless steel screws blew off the heads before they were half seated. I had to use deck screws for attachment, which is almost as clear as they are all covered with a plate. Why would any manufacturer make…

Super high quality. Great Product

Provides a strong handrail, love that it keeps you safe in the shower or other places in the house. Excellent! Update: 4-11-19 Handrails are great for heavy duty applications. As always, the included screws are terrible. They tend to cut out a Phillips screw hole, making them almost impossible to tighten properly. Share the tile. If you are a normal person and have a little judgment. I recommend purchasing 10 (3/16) x 2" STAINLESS STEEL HEX HEAD SCREWS with stainless steel washers. Hex head so…

Come on Raven! You can do better! (Yes, total disappointment!)

I decided to purchase this safety bar based on the product description and product installation video. Recent reviews were all 5 stars. I only picked this one because it was called Revain's Choice. The video also shows the SecureMount fittings for cavity walls. Exactly what I needed - so I bought two sets. Safety bars are great, but what about cavity wall fixings? Who knows?! Obviously not included. Nowhere was it mentioned that the hardware pictured was not included in the purchase. It also…

Pros
  • Reliable and Secure: SecureMount design for easy and secure installation (sold separately)
Cons
  • Nothing here

ATTENTION TO THE BUYER! for bath and shower rods

Moen's video and written description of their various rods shows that the "SecureMount" installation is included and that it is rated for 500lbs of ADA traction. Not true!. First, it's not included, if you want a "SecureMount" system, you'll have to purchase it at $21.32 per mount, and this system is only rated for 300lbs of pull (non-ADA compliant). Very misleading product description. What actually comes with the support bar are 6.2" Phillips stainless steel wood screws. This installation…

  • Hidden Screw

  • There are problems

Very pleased with this bar

I have installed four of these bars in two bathrooms. They definitely add some level of security, especially for the elderly. Installation was pretty easy for me because I have the experience and tools for this type of project. Less equipped and experienced folks who aren't handy may need help, particularly with laying over tile, but just about any DIY enthusiast should be able to handle this for those who have one. I like the 1-1/2" bar size. The shank isn't knurled. It's smooth, but just…
