Based on our own experience, we can say that these cable glands were not up to the mark. While the product looks good on paper it's surprising how quickly they fall apart in real-world conditions. While they ARE advertised as industrial and scientific grade, we had a hard time relying on them. The only positive aspect of these glands is that they come in a pack of five .Unfortunately, that doesn't make up for their poor quality and unreliability..

I used this to protect the trolling motor cables and battery from water. They worked great! I had to use a small amount of shrink wrap to reinforce the 10 gauge wire tightly into the conduit.
