As the flagship of the new "Aurora" product series, the Aurora 1000 floor standing speaker stands out with its elegant appearance, innovative technology and of course outstanding acoustic properties. The low-mid range is reproduced by two 200mm woofers and one 170mm midrange with time-tested and proven HECO kraft paper cones, and demonstrates maximum naturalness, timbre accuracy and high speed combined with massive bass. The latest Fluktus tweeter from HECO delivers perfect dispersion properties thanks to its 28mm silk dome and specially designed multi-wavelength front panel. These features provide high resolution with accurate micro-dynamics and guarantee an overall coherent soundstage with accurate localization and focusing of sound images. The case has increased rigidity, reinforced with internal baffles to eliminate overtones and resonances and is mounted on a solid aluminum podium on massive pendulum metal spikes adjustable in height. For better interior compatibility, the Aurora 1000 is available in both dark "ebony black" finishes with black grille and light "ivory white" finishes with gray grille, which attach to the front panels with discreet integrated magnets so as not to detract from the overall look. . The front and top panels are covered with a matte silk-like lacquer.

The ratio of price and quality is very pleasing, I will repeat the purchase.

I have been using these HECO 1000 fronts for 2 years, from a home theater. They are omnivorous and universal, but because of this, they lack a little clarity and detail in the music, they are deaf, however, the equalizer will help you. I don't indulge in audiophilia, I prefer esotericism and magic - real blind listening . I change equipment often and always have something to compare with. I took different wires from my friends, from aluminum to copper with silver, but this rude HECO doesn't…

Pros
  • Calm design. Good sound, universal, for movies and music.
Cons
  • Phase inverters are at the back and therefore it is impossible to put the acoustics close to the wall, this is bad, especially in small rooms of 16-18 meters. Despite the declared sensitivity of 93db, it is rather dull and inert.

For several years I listened to music in headphones, I decided to buy these speakers. Headphones were: Sennheiser HD800 for almost everything and Fostex TR-X00 for "sausage music" with bass. Now I prefer to listen to music on these speakers, so the speakers can be very, very good (I still listen to senheisers sometimes, Fostex stopped listening.)
