NO THREAD and weak motor

(1999 Toyota Sienna LE) Difficult replacement:1. There are no threads. You must use existing bolts to thread the new motor. Simply align the motor with the window regulator to do this only once.2. The window rolls down like a new car! It's coming back very, very, very slowly 🐌. 2-3 hours alone. Removing the plate is easy. Plastic clips become very brittle with age, so be careful and handle them gently. It was painful to pull the lift out of the small hole with the motor. Once you switch…

Works great in a 1999 Toyota Tacoma 4x4

Fits my 1999 Tacoma TRD 4x4 perfectly and works great. Remember this is a one size fits all so you have several different wired pigtails to choose from and you simply select the pigtail that fits your vehicle. One end plugs into the engine, the other end plugs directly into the car's outlet. The metal parts fit perfectly and snap into place. The sound is a little higher pitched than my OEM motor and the window can move a little faster. The Express Activation feature still works great! I've only

Almost perfect - room for improvement in finish

I replaced this in less time than it takes to remove the door panel. It was an easy exchange and a perfect fit. The wiring in the box was perfect. I gave it one star because it doesn't include new screws and the screw holes are unthreaded. I just put screws from my van in the holes anyway. However, one of the holes began to relax. In my opinion, that is indeed a problem. I removed the part and epoxy sealed the threaded nut back into the plastic. Also, I'm impressed with the performance. only a…

Perfect fit for my 1999 Toyota Sienna

Despite all the concerns from other reviews that the mounting holes on the motor are not pre-drilled, I had no trouble hand threading the holes with the existing screws others have suggested. More importantly, once the screws are passed through the mounting holes on the motor, they are properly threaded into the metal door frame. I was also pleased that my 1999 Toyota Sienna didn't have the up/down buttons swapped, as some other reviewers mentioned issues. With. One of the three supplied cable…

Great for 2001 Corolla

Fits a 2001 Corolla on the driver's side with no problem. Works great and the included electrical cord (one of 3 different types) plugs right in. The speed is about the same as other windows, and the noise is a little louder but comparable when the window is up. The only thing worth mentioning about the installation (apart from not much room to work in the door) is that the screw holes on the motor housing are not yet tapped so you should use screws (which should be self tapping) to create the…

View works sometimes but installation issues

Well, so much for a browser that installs this in 10 minutes. It took me four hours in my 1991 Toyota Previa. In addition to the door panels, I had to remove the entire window as well as all window hinges/rollers - just to get to the motor itself and the three rear mounting bolts. The instructions provided were pathetic; You referred me to my repair manual. My Haynes manual doesn't say anything about this repair other than that it's too complicated for a do-it-yourselfer. After having to…

This engine works perfectly

The engine itself works perfectly for my Corolla. This is the same and direct correspondence. The fork itself has many options for other cars, but once you've found the right one, it'll fit right in as well. Finally I can roll up the windows and protect myself from the rain. I just removed the windshield. removes the original motor held by about 3 bolts, swaps the motor, uses the same 3 bolts. I was ready. I absolutely did not use the old connector as another reviewer said. I actually had to…

2001 Toyota Camry Driver's Window

Installed today on a 2001 Camry on the driver's side - replacing an engine that was dead. I expect this replacement to last the rest of the vehicle's life. If not I will try to update it accordingly. Performance is way better than the dying engine it replaced. I used a few YouTube videos to see how the repair is done and was able to do it myself in a couple of hours with this engine, probably saving a few hundred mechanical parts and labor. The only difficult job for me was reattaching the…

Fits 1989 Supra driver's side window

Bought to replace an original Toyota driver's side window regulator on my 1989 Supra. I installed it on an original power window and as other reviews have noted the mounting holes on this Dorman motor are unthreaded (not "threaded") which is annoying but you can always use a special one. Tool. First, make sure you have all of the original screws from your old power window, and second, set the motor aside, disconnect it from the regulator, then carefully insert one of the original screws into…
