Don't expect the impossible.

So this is a safety rope. A couple of good wire cutters or half a dozen items from my garage will cut this thing in seconds. If you want to make sure your stuff stays yours, it costs about $15 a foot of chain you can't cut. However, this will keep my alternator from accidentally getting into someone's truck, or most likely stupid kids.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • There's nothing here

Quality cable / scratch resistant

I use it to tie my bike to the parking block in my home's private garage so high security is not an issue. This cable is easy to use and runs without the annoying permanent coil that many cables have. The end loops are big enough to go through the other end and big enough to put on my U-lock. This worked very well for me.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Doubt

Used to protect my gym equipment

Probably not the standard use case people buy this cable for, but I've used it to protect my home gym equipment (e.g. kettlebells, benches). ). press, etc.) that I brought to my office to use during lunch. On the days I ride my bike to the office, I lock this pup up with this cord as well. Very thick and high quality although I haven't tried cutting it to find out where it broke. In general I recommend!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Good but not great

Good price but average security

Used for locking bikes in the garage and locking fridges and chairs on camping trips. Really flexible to use, good quality and at the right price. Unfortunately, this item was put to the test when thieves cut it open to steal our bikes. I knew this cable lock wasn't impenetrable, but it would take bolt cutters or a cutting wheel to break it. In the future we will be upgrading our security to a chain link but I will not hesitate to buy this product again.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not the best

Solid, strong and inexpensive

An excellent vinyl coated cable. It was surprisingly heavy and solid in my hand, but is great for attaching patio furniture, grills, back porch bikes, exercise equipment, etc. I'm so glad I didn't use the 10ft pole either. I left out the plastic wrap around the 3/8" cable. With the shell, the overall diameter increases to almost 1/2" (important to know when buying a padlock)!

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No machine

Length Required: Hardware

Required a bike cable long enough to wrap around the base of our air conditioner and then run through the frames of three kids bikes. This is just right with plenty of extra length to allow kids (4, 6 & 8) to maneuver their bikes enough to get on and off on their own; It doesn't take intense Tetris to fit all the bikes in the room. We have a combination lock that works well with it and kids can use it on their own too. Someone "borrowed" one of our kid's bikes a few weeks ago and left it on the

I needed some kind of anti-theft protection for an electric car.

I needed anti-theft protection for my electric smoker and grill that I have on my patio. I was able to thread the cord through the handles on both items and wrap it around a nearby steel pole. It worked great. It's very strong, and to cut it you'll need some sort of saw. I don't have to worry about anyone taking my smoker or grill for fun or real. You will need some type of combination lock to secure the two ends of the cable. If I want to use a smoker or grill, all I have to do is open the…

EVERYTHING has limits - Steel harnesses - Comfortable with U-lock

This harness is about as comfortable and efficient as it gets, but NOTHING is perfect. The best you can do is tie the bike to a secure, strong structural member (bar, etc.) with a smaller/tight U-shackle combined with a cable or chain. If the bike is in a tight spot, maybe with many other bikes, it will be more difficult to physically get the tools to the lock and cable/chain. Large U-shackles are more convenient than small ones, but are heavier and easier to twist, pluck, or break with large…
