Works without error

Everything is fine. Has no problems with other nVme adapters. But it consumes too much power to connect directly to the USB3 port of the Raspberry Pi 4B. If this is the case, other devices connected via USB may see brown outputs. I'm using an externally powered USB3 hub and everything is fine.

Pros
  • Fits a lot of people
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Worked great for cloning

Tried other adapters with JMicron chip and they didn't work/boot/disabled etc. This adapter worked right away and I was able to clone my 512 nvme with USB 3.1 gen2 connector. .

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Empty

cool outdoors but not portable

Suitable for one-time cloning when the old SSD runs out of space. Without a shell, so not protected, but also without a heat trap. Impressive speed at a low price, like slow SATA counterparts. (Problem if you install an SSD with a "B-Key" notch at the end. NOT!)

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • boring packaging

Works best in Computers & Accessories category

I used this to recover data from a broken laptop to an SSD. It worked great on both Mac and PC. I've read and written dozens of GB with no problems. The package includes a small screwdriver for the included screw that holds the SSD in place.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Works best as described in Hard Drive Enclosure

I bought a compatible PCIe SSD for this adapter. Physically installing the SSD was straightforward (no instructions were provided or needed) and everything worked as expected when I plugged this combo drive into my computer's USB 3 port. I used Windows Disk Management Utility (part of Windows) to create a partition and format the SSD to NTFS. This device was also recognized by my Raspberry Pi 4, which is why I bought it in the first place. I am happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • Hot swappable, plug and play, no driver required. Direct connection without USB cable
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Works as promised. for Hard Drive Accessories

I bought this item to replace the SDD HD in my new laptop. It came with a 512GB SDD and I wanted 1TB. I could use it to migrate my system OS to a new drive via USB3 port very easily. It was easy and quick. When reading reviews of other products, such as B. this product with a different chipset, the reviews had a fairly constant theme: the product got very hot. I tested this product during transfer and it was never too hot to touch like some other advertised products. Never been uncomfortably…

Pros
  • Help your M.2 NVME SSD connect your computer or laptop with this USB adapter card
Cons
  • Sun Sun
