DURABLE - The Corki Cycles disc brake pads are built to improve the power of your braking and ensure a longer life than other brake pads. It is inevitable that you will need to replace your pair of brake pads, but before you do so you want plenty of use. A pair of disc brake pads need to be durable, wear-resistant, and long-lasting. At Corki Cycles we know there is a science to disc brake pads. OPTIONS - When choosing new or replacement disc brake pads, the sizing/compatibility and material are most important. The brake pad material affects the use, wear, and life of the brake pads. At Corki Cycles we offer 4 different materials to match the different styles of riding. MATERIAL - Choose a resin/organic pad for casual riding, a semi-metallic pair of disc brake pads for more frequent use, and multi-metallic/sintered or copper brake pads for more aggressive riding. Multi-metallic/sintered or copper disc brake pads are perfect for more aggressive riding like downhill. RESPONSIVE - When you're driving your car you want responsive and quick-reacting brakes. The same applies to your bicycle. The Corki Cycles disc brake pads are the perfect thickness for greater longevity and wear resistance. Yet for those needing split reaction breaking and greater responsiveness on the trails our disc brake pads perform every time. COMPATIBILITY - Before ordering check your current brake pads for compatibility, or check online to match the brand and make with the correct pads before buying. The Corki Cycles disc brake pad pair is compatible with: TRP Tektro, Shimano Deore Br-M575, M525, M515, T615, T675, M505, M495, M486, M485, M475, M465, M447, M446, M445, M416, M415, M395, M375, M315, M355, C601, and C501. PREPARATION - To install firstly remove your front and rear wheel. Remove the old, worn brake pads from the front and rear calipers. Check your pistons and do an overall caliper health check first. Check the quality of the brake cable or hydraulic hose before installing the new disc brake pads. Using a flat tool push the pistons back ready to install the new pads. INSTALLATION -Insert the new brake pads correctly and secure them inside the caliper with the spring and pin. Re-attach your wheel and check the disc rotor positioning. Make sure there is no friction with the new brake pads when the brakes are not in use. If there is some friction or the disc rotor is hard to move you may need to file the pads very slightly. Alternatively, you can wait after a few rides for this to wear down.

Good upgrade for stock budget brakes

They are thick but no problems installing them. More pad for the buck in my book.Bought these to replace the original pads on my Poseidon redwood. I might eventually get better brakes but in the meantime these really made it better. Slight squeal on the front but no worse than I’ve heard from my friends high end bikes.Only got a hundred or so miles on these but lots of hills. If they last I might not bother with further upgrades as I can lock up the front going downhill on gravel now.

Pros
  • I have a rad rover 5 and original brakes pads felt kinda weak. These definitely improved my brakes.
Cons
  • Could cause vibration or shaking during braking

they are mountain bike brakes but sizing was mm too large

The brakes came and I tries to install but would not fit in the glove in my caliper. I had to file a mm off the edge for the brake pad to fit. the pads should have fit with no issue. As far as stopping my bike the pad do a good job better than organic pads. I would have given 5 stars if I did not have to file the edge down to fit. I know i could have returned the pads but I wanted new brakes with new disk so I could ride.

Pros
  • Stops as well as the OEM stuff, which is the important part.
Cons
  • Could be difficult to install for inexperienced DIYers

Great price + fast delivery = a no brainer. GREAT BUY!

Theres little to say about this product other than it works just as intended. So the focus would now shift towards price and availability. Which are amazing and i felt much more satisfied with the product due in part to the delivery process. I literally searched, saw the price for these brakes , looked at the date to be here and clicked buy. I went on my day. I received the pads and installed it and i forgot that i did all that within 10 min as though the bike never had a problem. I was amazed…

Pros
  • They are pretty decent pads...last longer than most
Cons
  • Could be prone to delamination or splitting

Easy upgrade: my feedback

Got the metallic pads to upgrade over the resin in my Tektro brakes and all is well on a few test rides. Can't speak on longevity but so far so good.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting - The 2 pairs of brake pads come in different materials - resin, semi-metallic, and sintered metal - ensuring that you have options for your specific riding needs and preferences. With their high-quality construction, these pads offer excellent wear resistance and can withstand heavy usage over a prolonged period
Cons
  • Could affect the resale value of your bike

Brakes were the Right Choice Read my Description:

These Brakes were very easy to installUsed them on my NCM Moscow Plus e-bikeThis was my first time changing out these brakesNo issues what so ever / Pure Common senseAfter they were installed, I took the bike for a test runTo see how the brakes were"I had a full brake”Better than I ever had with this e-bike"The bike seems to want to stop on a dime”I am happy with my choice, better then I expectedI sometimes go down some serious hills,I know I will feel safeKnowing these brakes are installed…

Pros
  • 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 - Choose a resin/organic pad for casual riding, a semi-metallic pair of disc brake pads for more frequent use, and multi-metallic/sintered or copper brake pads for more aggressive riding. Multi-metallic/sintered or copper disc brake pads are perfect for more aggressive riding like downhill.
Cons
  • May require frequent adjustments to work properly

Grabby & Noisy, But Durable

They work as intended and seem to be holding up well. They sound like nails on a chalkboard though. I'm going with copper next time.

Pros
  • Don't last long
Cons
  • Could generate dust and debris during use
