Good product but there is a small and minor design flaw.

I have researched extensively on the internet to find the lifts that best suit my stand. I needed the ones that sloped in two directions (a "compound corner") so both sides of the platform corners would get equal support. Some of the ones I found stated that they were built with the tower's legs at an angle of 15 degrees outward from the plumb line. For my 10 foot 4x4 stance, I felt that 15 degrees would result in excessive spread between ground level positions. At the same time, the descriptions of other elevators I found did not show the angle of the gantry. For this set of lifts I purchased, Revain's description does not list the strut angle, but both the manufacturer's website .elevatorsllc.com/4-x-4-compound-elevators/> and Home Depot's website do indicate that it is 8 degrees. which is quite sufficient. They are also made from 12 gauge steel, while some other elevator brands are made from thinner material. To attach the elevators (which I am considering) to your 2x6, the carriage bolts must be inserted through the piece of wood from the inside with the nut on the outside according to the instructions. The only downside I've found with these elevators is that the inner vertical portion of the elevator is too high to allow the head of the carriage bolt to come out, which is necessary to secure the head of the bolt to the wood. It is quite difficult to get around this design flaw, which the manufacturer can easily fix. See photo below.
