Venture Kick: Financing option for Swiss startups

Company to support Swiss entrepreneurs in which two concepts are combined, accelerator and investor, founded in 2007, has an investment fund and a team of more than 150 expert mentors to advise on accelerator programs for entrepreneurship.

As a thermometer to evaluate the quality of the company we have to evaluate the numbers since its founding, and these are favorable to the company, more than 700 entrepreneurial projects supported, which have generated 8,000 new jobs in Switzerland, that is an added value as an effect or impact they cause in society. These companies have raised around 4.2 billion Swiss francs and those numbers are flattering.

The company supports, accelerates and finances Swiss-based companies and projects them globally, which is understandable as they bring global capital into the Swiss economy.

The dynamics of the acceleration program can be summarized in 3 stages, an initial investment, then the acceleration phase with mentors depending on the type of venture and finally connect with a network of major funders in Switzerland, that does not end there, after the launch the ventures are eligible for more funding from investors and advice to project its expansion globally, this program in total has a duration of 9 months, and funding is in the three stages.

The requirements are somewhat sectarian, be a resident and of Swiss origin, the company must not be registered to operate in Switzerland, must be a new company, must not have received funding previously, must also be an innovative and interesting venture.
