Well they look great when they are put on but they come with adhesive strips to keep them in place. The instructions state that the temperature must be at least 65 degrees Fahrenheit for proper adhesion. Even though I'm in Texas it hasn't been 65 degrees since I got them. I'm looking forward to this weekend when the temperature is supposed to rise to at least 62 degrees. Sitting in the sun will likely heat the metal to over 65 degrees and will take a day to install. Install according to the supplied instructions and clean the contact surfaces with alcohol. I can report that adhesive tapes have industrial suitability. Make sure they are perfectly positioned before letting them touch the car. Since the KC light mount made assembly a bit more difficult, I let the first touch the misaligned car. I wasn't sure if I could do it. But both are positioned correctly and look great.
