Review on 🗑️ Waste King L-111 Garbage Disposal Recycling Unit with Built-in Power Cord, 1/3 Horsepower by Ruben Jamrock

WOW! I am very impressed with the Waste King L-111 refuse shredder. My old slide was some kind of generic brand that came with the house. As you can see from the photos below it is in a trash can. First of all I have to thank Waste King for making the slide so easy to install. I actually made the mistake of not applying enough putty around the drain and some water spilled out during the test run, but I was able to quickly remove the slide and reseal the drain within 5 minutes! Anyone can install this slide, so don't hesitate to buy for fear of the installation process! I wasn't sure if I should buy the 1/3 or 1/2 hp model as they aren't that much different in price. I read that 1/3 hp models. quieter, and in my house we don't use garbage collection as the main form of waste disposal, so I chose the Waste King Legend Series L-111. I have to say the thing is very quiet whereas my old system sounded like a turbine was starting when it was running. If your family actively uses your recycling, I would recommend the 1/2 HP model. (preferably model L-1001). . New drain, elbow flange, plug, sink flange, rubber gasket (for use with stainless steel sinks), splash guard and power cord! I noticed that some of the bins didn't have a power cord so I was very happy a cord was included! Overall I am very happy with this garbage chute. Only time will tell if it's reliable and updated, but for now I'm glad I chose Waste King!
